Current Projects

Currently serving as the City’s project manager for the planning, design, and construction of the current plant expansion from 9 to 12 million gallons per day.  Managed the value engineering process and the financial application for the SRF loan. The Project experienced delays and will finish in spring 2011.

Chico Water Pollution Control Plant  Expansion

Providing technical support on an irrigation water temperature study funded by the State Department of Water Resources (DWR) and local agricultural water districts in Butte County.  As part of a diverse technical team of consultants and agency representatives, MPM’s  responsibilities included data logger installation, data collection, and instrumentation quality control.   MPM has provided support services to the project since 2008 and work is slated to continue through the summer of 2011.

Western Canal Water District – Capital Improvement Plan

MPM/Engineering has developed a Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for the District which covers a 20 year planning period.  Work began on the CIP during the fall of 2010 and is expected to be completed by summer 2011.
